PRICES
Chinchilla prices have a seasonal bias and also vary according to color, age, and other factors. Most of our kits are priced between $125 and $175. Violets, Dark Ebonies, Black Velvets, and other TOV's are higher in price. A one-month's supply of food and a 5-page chin care manual are included in the price of my chinchillas. A 7% Rhode Island sales tax is added to all prices, except for chinchillas purchased online and delivered anywhere except locations in Rhode Island.
POLICIES
DEPOSIT: I will hold a chinchilla for 72 hours without a deposit. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due within 72 hours. If a deposit is not received within 72 hours, I reserve the right to offer the chinchilla to another buyer.
PAYMENT OF A BALANCE: The balance owed is due when the kit is picked up.
PICK UP DATE: Kits can generally be picked up when they are eight to nine weeks' old. Occasionally, a kit needs to stay here for an addtional week or two. However, I won't keep a kit longer than necessary.
GUARANTEE: All the chinchilla kits I sell are guaranteed to be in good health at the time they are picked up. Chinchillas do not need annual shots or routine veterinary exams, but an occasional visit to the vet may become necessary for a specific ailment. Not all veterinarians will treat chinchillas. Before purchasing a chinchilla, it's a good idea to identify a vet who treats "exotics."
ADULTS FOR SALE: We occasionally sell adult chins who are either being removed from our breeding program or have been "rescued". We will not offer any chin for sale with a serious health problem, and a prospective buyer will be notified about any chronic but-not-serious health problem, should there be one.
