Welcome to Chinchillas RI, located in Cranston, Rhode Island. I started breeding and selling chinchilla kits to individuals and families in 2002 and have placed over 250 kits. My breeding chins are capable of producing standards and all mutation colors except sapphire. My principle objectives are to provide a comfortable environment for my animals and to breed healthy and well socialized kits that will make good pets. To further this goal, I offer my customers assistance on the proper ways of handling (and, if necessary, disciplining) a chinchilla. I also furnish all customers with a chinchilla care manual, which I have prepared with the collaboration of several other breeders. I also sell thoughtfully designed chinchilla cages and cage accessories, which place the safety and comfort of a chinchilla first and foremost.
